Raul and his wife Heather are heading to London for the private opening of a new exhibition space and research centre by their artist friends, Gilbert and George.
The exhibition about Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland at the V&A Museum in London has reminded Raul of a very special commission he created.
It’s been a busy – but fun – summer for Raul Speek Gallery, with exhibitions, workshops, new products, cake baking, music, and time with friends.

The husband and wife, who own Raul Speek Gallery in Solva, Pembrokeshire, will be showcasing their work here in West Wales.
For the last 10 years, Raul has been exploring Wales's fascinating heritage. He’s been especially intrigued by Welsh women’s traditional dress – and with the country’s surprising connection to Patagonia in South America.
We’re delighted our gallery, shop, and café in Main Street, Solva, will re-open tomorrow (Friday 21 May), following the latest easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
As the Covid-19 lockdown continues, we look forward to welcoming our visitors back to our gallery in the pretty harbour village of Solva, in Pembrokeshire, Wales. We don’t yet have a date, but we’ll keep you posted.
Meanwhile, Raul has been keeping himself busy with his art, music, and other projects.
