Art in Cuba TBA
This will be partially art history and partially a practical experience. It will start in Havana and will include visits to the provinces. As a Cuban I will share with you the art of my country in a way which might not otherwise be available to you.
Cuba is a country suffering from material poverty but it is creatively and spiritually very rich. Everywhere there is colour and texture set against a background of life fully lived in music and a sense of community.
Art in Tuscany. TBA
Based in a small family run hotel in Tuscany this workshop will include painting where the Renaissance artists painted and trips to Sienna with its teeming life and Florence to experience the wonderful works in the Uffizzi Gallery.
Art and Photography in Provence TBA
This will be based in Sault in Provence during the Lavendar season and will explore colour and texture during the growing season of this beautiful crop. The heady scent of the lavender crop permeates everything and the weekly market in the village reflects the variety of uses this wonderful plant is used for as well as allowing time to sample the local foods: wonderful bread, delicious cheeses and heady red wines. A haven for the creative spirit.
Please be aware that all dates are speculative and are subject to change at anytime, we will endeavour to keep the information as accurate as possible.
