Privacy / GDPR Policy
Like everyone else we have had to produce the following information. Please read it before subscribing to our mailing list or forwarding any personal data. Thank you and sorry to add to the number of these you are having to deal with.
We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of any person for whom we process Personal Data (PD from now on). PD includes any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. By consenting to this privacy notice you are giving permission for us to process your data specifically for the purposes of newsletter, invitations, contact through your email account and to answer any queries made by you concerning the work we do. You have the right to request removal from any of these processes at any time – just email us on (for both sites) or ring Heather on 01437 721907 and your information will be deleted or if necessary cross-shredded.
We will not disclose your PD to any third party for the purpose of their or any other third party’s marketing. The only exception would be if legally required to do so and we would inform you of this.
PD will not be retained for longer than is necessary or is legally required. Any paper records will then be cross-shredded. All reasonable care and precautions will be taken to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of this PD.
Any purchases made through any of our sites are directly through Paypal who hold a compliant server/system: we do not have access to your financial data. Occasionally customers decide to make purchases over the phone; any details of credit cards are not kept on file nor are they attached to identifiable personal details in writing whilst being processed and are shredded immediately the sale is input.
You have a right to request a copy of the information we hold about you some of which you can legally ask to be erased; a right to have PD processing restricted; a right to have PD transferred to outside organisations and a right to object to various types of data processing like direct marketing.
Our websites may include hyperlinks and details of third party websites. Please check if they are also GDPR compliant before giving them your details.
