May was a busy month. We re-opened full time in the gallery, took part in several exhibition and Raul appeared on Countryfile again courtesy of their team. Today (4th June) we have delivered paintings and photographs to the Waterfront Gallery in Milford as part of their next exhibition ‘Black and White’
Raul is working hard on his various projects whilst keeping out an inspired output of artworks for the gallery and his video works.
Our young lady Hannah is back in June and we will then open the cafe for drinks and cakes only for the Summer months. We would still have problems with running a full menu as Heather’s Mother continues unwell and she has to keep leaving to help her. Please bear with us – we will try our hardest to make sure you are looked after will tasty cakes and delicious coffee etc. We still have a full licence so you can get a glass of wine or beers and ciders.
Look forward to seeing you all again this year and catching up on your news and showing you our new work.
The Gallery will be re-opening on 23rd March 2018. This year we are not running the cafe except for evening events details of which are on the Workshops Pages or you can ring us on 01437 721907. Sorry to disappoint our regular customers. We are running a lot more workshops this year both on the art and on the photographic side and hope you will enjoy coming along to join in. We are re-opening the shop area which will offer and extensive range of jewellery, gifts, cards and art materials. We will also be featuring guest artists Ian McDonald (print maker) and Anna Cross (textile artist. Looking forward to seeing you all again this year.
Evening events will include Supper with the Artist, Jazz and Tapas Nights, Music Evenings and a variety of Talks. We hold a full licence so wine and local beers will be available at all of these as well as a range of soft drinks, teas and coffees.

Have been working on our new website www.raulspeek.co.uk with Tim Stowe of Pembrokeshire Online www.pembrokeshireonline.net It has been a long process trying to include everything we had before yet updating its appearance and adding new material. It is going to go live with some parts unfinished. The shop for instance can’t begin to go up until we are live and we are still working on the courses particularly the Spanish one which will be based in Capileira in October.
